Just a note to let everyone know that after a 5 month long unsuccessful battle to regain consciousness after his fall, Paul’s dad passed away peacefully early this afternoon. His wife, two sons and two daughters-in-law were all in attendance.
We have known that this was inevitable for a while now, and are glad his suffering is over. Per his wishes, there will be no service of any kind.
Thanks everyone, for your kind thoughts and prayers over the last few months.
Paul and I will stay here for the next month to help his mom.
Paul and Sue: I am so sorry to hear the news! I obviously had no idea. As has happened to me on several occasions recently however, I was thinking of the two of you yesterday morning - and then received your update later in the day. Mental telepathy, or something. It sounds like he didn't suffer but that doesn't make it any easier for any of you. Give your Mom a hug from me, OK, Paul? 59 years is a long time. Call or write when you get a chance.
